Breaking Through Limitations

You want to succeed, right? You have the desire to eat in a way that will cause you lose weight and/or get fitter don't you? I know you do!

So then why is it SO DANG HARD to actually make it happen?

When someone starts out all gung-ho with a new workout program or an idea about changing their body composition, they're often so excited that they overlook how truly challenging it's actually going to be. When someone embarks on a fitness program, it is imperative to write down the actual, tangible goals. This creates accountability with yourself. It makes it real.

When someone embarks on a fitness program, it is imperative to write down the actual, tangible goals.

Now post these goals up in a place where you will see them daily. Tell your friends, family, coworkers and Facebook groups about them. This is called creating a web of accountability. If you tell everyone you know that in 2 months you're going to lose 10 pounds, you can bet that in 60 days those same people will be wondering if you actually did what you set out to do. This forces (or rather, corners) you into action.

Additionally, what I believe is almost as important as setting the goals themselves is making a list of the limiting factors - those things that will hold you back and potentially make achieving your goals harder. The ones I most often see are finances, family, and work. By identifying these limiting factors to begin with, you can come up with a plan for how to get around them so they do not hold you back. This preemptive work can truly make all the difference.

Once you've identified limiting factors and make a plan for how to deal with them, you should be set for success right? Well again, it's not that simple because you have to TAKE ACTION.

I can give you EVERY SINGLE TOOL you need to be successful, but it's up to you to implement them.

If you lose focus, or the scale is moving too slowly for your liking, I want you to know that I am here for you.
